It’s finally spring, which means I’m more inclined to actually leave the house when it isn’t strictly required. Which is how I’ve gotten in the habit of going to Decade on Sunday mornings—sometimes with my friend Becca and sometimes with Mister BS.
It’s such a cozy, laid back space. There are big tables for busting out a board game, and tiny tables for two for conversation. Big windows let in lots of light.
There’s a nice porch to that’s perfect for sunny, warm days.
In addition to pour overs, espresso, and drip coffee, this East Lawrence coffeeshop also features brunch, snacks, and cocktails.
Mister BS had the eggs Benedict with Hank Charcuterie ham — he said it was amazing.
Sometimes I get a grilled cheese with carmelized onion and granny smith apple slices, a salad, or plantains with red beans and sticky rice — which are all are fabulous — but this time I opted for a hazelnut macaron.
It was hard to resist.
It’s the perfect place to spend a spring morning! I definitely love this little neighborhood spot.
Cookies, coffee, and a good book…what more could you want?
