I am ready for the weekend, and I hope you are too! While I don’t ever mind when I have absolutely no plans for the weekend (hello, extra reading time) this one is going to be a busy. Mister BS and I have a wedding (his cousin) and some errands we have to squeeze in, not to mention, things like laundry. On Sunday, it’s letter writing club and then Liberty Hall is showing one of my very favorite movies for film church: Harold and Maude! If you haven’t seen it, you must. It’s the quirkiest, weirdest, most beautiful love story with an amazing soundtrack by Cat Stevens.
Without further ado, here’s what I’ve been reading this week.
If you like chatting with others about what everyone’s been reading lately, check out Mrs. Darcy’s reading lately link up.
I have major Netflix indecision. More often than not, Mister BS and I end up re-watching TV shows or turning off the TV and picking up our books (which isn’t bad, but…sometimes I just need some quality Netflix time). Bustle has some recs that I’ll be checking out.
I’ll admit, I kinda freaked out when I got my copy of Hamilton the Revolution this week. (And it’s only six months until I get to see it on Broadway!). The book is currently sold out on Amazon (and backordered from distribution warehouses) but you are going to want to get your hands on this if you’re a fan of the musical. It’s AMAZING and detailed and I’m in LOVE.
You could always get the audiobook to hold you over (but you’ll want the print for the pictures, even though it has deckled edges). Here’s a list of 10 more American History audiobooks worth checking out.
What interesting reading have I missed? What are you up to this weekend? I’d love to hear about it.
